Get ready for a day full of reading, games, prizes, and community building. The SK Storyteller Summit is quickly approaching on August 22nd from 10AM-3PM at Marcus Whitman Middle School. Hear from authors such as Jamie Ford, Ellie Peterson, Jessixa Bagley, Lori Matsukawa, Neetal Parekh and others!
We are beyond grateful for the generous grant from the Port Gamble S’Klallam Foundation that is making this whole event possible! This district-wide event is open to all students across our district and is completely free. Come join to spark a lifelong love of reading and writing.
The day will include engaging activities with local literacy advocates including Kitsap Regional Library, Follett, Salmonberry Books, and Eagle Harbor Books. Connect with some of our amazing community partners like South Kitsap Fire & Rescue, the YMCA PKC, the Olympic Educational Service District, Communities in Schools and more! There is fun for all ages planned throughout the day, so come and bring the whole family for this amazing event.
