Hello Marcus Whitman Trailblazers

How Can Your School Counselors Help?

School counselors are here to support students with many different concerns, big or small. Some common reasons students reach out to us include:

  • Family concerns
  • Friendship challenges or peer conflicts
  • Physical, mental, and emotional changes as you grow
  • Classroom concerns
  • Academic struggles or questions
  • Harassment, intimidation, or bullying
  • Feelings of sadness, depression, or anxiety
  • Trouble falling asleep or staying asleep
  • Positive experiences, accomplishments, or exciting things happening in your life that you want to share!

Although students are generally assigned to counselors by last name (Mr. Fogel: A–K; Mrs. Eccleston: L–Z), you are welcome to meet with either of us—whomever you feel most comfortable talking to.

You can request an appointment by email, using an appointment request slip, by phone, or through a teacher.

Mr. Fogel and Mrs. Eccleston are here for you! You don't have to face challenges alone, and we're always happy to celebrate the good things happening in your life, too.
